| FAQ |
Why shouldn't I clean my blinds myself? Many people try cleaning their blinds in the bathtub. You may scratch the finish on the tub, and this method is time consuming, messy and does not clean away built-up grease/dirt in the head rail and on the cords. Some people try to clean their blinds with spray cleaners and a cloth. This method of cleaning will leave behind a residue, and the residue combined with the sun shining through your windows, can actually lift the paint off your blinds or weaken the finish.
How does ultrasonic cleaning work? The ultrasonic process is much like the system that a jeweler uses. The ultrasonic machine uses sound waves to produce millions of microscopic bubbles that get into the crevasses of the blind. These bubbles implode, which break away any particles. This process cleans the entire blind, including cords, gears, locks and strings. In the rinse bath, we use a wax and anti-static additive. Your blinds will look just like new again!
How long does it take? Your blinds will only be off your windows for about one hour. Kingdom Window is the only company in Carson that offers "On-Site" ultrasonic blind cleaning, which is a convenient service for our customers, and is the least disruptive method of cleaning.
